There is a builtin utility in oh-my-zsh to update it from the command line. Many a times when you launch your terminal window you might skip the update for oh-my-zsh. This is how you can update oh-my-zsh from the command line.
omz update
Follow the instructions and you should be able to update oh-my-zsh manually.
